Let me tell you afew reasons why you need concealers of more than one shade.

1) You can use it to shape your nose.

The usual way is to apply a bronzer or foundation that is 2-3 shades darker than your skin along the sides of your nose, then dust the bridge of your nose with shimmer powder or a highlighter.



I use the 15-brush set from BeautySplash brushes section to do all my concealing. I always use a light concealer shade to make a thin line on my non-existant nose bridge to make it look like I have something.

You can further shape it by using the other darker shades. Unlike using eyeshadows to do this effect, I find that the creamy texture of this palette is much easier to apply, looks more natural (less powderish), and also stays on much longer!



2) You can use it if you do outdoor activities very often.


One day you are tanned and another day you are not. Thus, you definitely cannot make do with only one shade of concealer. You'll definitely find this palette useful!

And for those of you who don't think you'll ever go out in the sun, face it, sometimes we don't have a choice. Keep this at home in case of emergencies!



3) You need different shades to target different discolouration and temperature. For example, to cover up dark bluish-purple eye circles, you should use a yellow-toned concealer while if you have puffy eyes, you should use a softer pink tone.

I heard that you'll need a different shade for extreme temperature changes (like a freezer office/super rainy day), but I havent found out exactly why.







What about blush? Why do I need to have so many shades?



Different shade works with different makeup styles. If you are a fashionista who experiment with different looks for different occassions, you definitely need this. It'd look so weird if you have on nude-brown makeup on the rest of your face and suddenly have this ridiculously bright pink blush on your cheeks.
