Accessories make up your style. Even a simple black dress can be seen in different lights just by matching accessories. For example, add some bling and you are probably attending a formal glamourous event, add some vintage accessories and the whole look changes.

Today, I want to introduce Jocianne.

Owner of Jocianne, Joanna Wee, started making accessories when she wanted to make a nice bracelet as a birthday gift for a friend. She thought that it would be wonderful if her beloved friend could receive a bracelet that was truly one-of-a-kind and that no other girl would have. Hence she went about getting abit too much materials and set out on her task. The result was 2 bracelets, 3 pairs of earrings and a few necklaces.

Joanna then thought that she could give away the rest of her creations as Christmas gifts but upon encouragement from another lovely friend, she decided to see if there was a market for her unique masterpieces.

And that marked the birth of Jocianne in October 2008.

The owner of Jocianne designs and hand-make quirky yet feminine accessories. She usually make only 1 piece per design due to the fact that she likes to buy a large variety of charms to experiment with and hence her items are very exclusive. I guess this is what most online-shoppers look for. You are not attractive enough if you are not unique.

The chains used by Jocianne is mostly 14k gold-plated unless stated otherwise. The charms and materials are more often than not , imported from overseas, like Hong Kong, UK and USA, for uniqueness and exclusivity.

I always think one-in-the-world accessories are very suitable as gifts. The receiver will never find it anywhere else, and thus the value is higher.

Jocianne will also be setting up a stall at a flea market this Saturday (11 Sept) and the details are as follows:

Event Name: Gathering of Stars!
