FAME VS FORTUNE, which one will you choose?
(in a way that is if you are famous, you will be poor and if you are rich, you will be unknown)
Coincidentially, it was our Gadget3 article topic for last week as well, so we had to answer the question anyway.
This was what i replied:
The first thing that came into my mind is "FORTUNE of course!" With fortune, almost anything is possible. I'll be able to live a carefree life! Okay, maybe not perfectly carefree, but at least i think it'll be alot more carefree than now.
Or maybe it's because im in debts currently, so i chose fortune.
Grass is always greener on the other side. Im sure if im a rich heiress, i would want fame! But now im really poor so i want fortune. Fame no use one luh. Haha.
I think young people usually choose fame because they think money will come when they have fame but that's not necessarily though. Also, fame comes in different forms and it might not be definitely good fame. If to choose between "not famous" and "famous for the wrong reasons", i rather be unknown.
Also, fame comes with a price. You get unkind negative comments ALL THE TIME! You do it this way, they complain. You do it that way, they also complain. You can never please everyone!
I rather be shopping my life away.
However, im sure that if i was born a rich little girl, i would choose fame. Because if that's the case, i would have already tried the life of fortune and would be curious about fame.
Just like now, i havent tasted any bit of a life of a rich little girl, so i want it!
