Today, I want to share something fun with you all!
I love trying new stuff, especially hands-on activities, so I was quite excited when Casuarina Curry invited me over for a Prata Workshop where I went behind-the-scenes and learnt how to make prata myself!
First, our instructor for the day!
As you can see, he is full of smiles throughout the lesson and funny too! Very patient with us although we messed up our pratas. Haha. I always thought that making prata is easy but actually it is not! Requires a lot of skill to flip and create the best texture.
After we prepared the dough, I requested to go in the kitchen too!
Do we look good as prata-couple? Hahaha.
We got to try our own prata after that! Okay lah, I give myself a pass! This chocolate prata was made for the "winner" for the flipping competition between me and my bf. Haha. We also tried their other pratas and I love the cheese prata and the curry was GOOD!!! Lots of love for the curry.
The entire process was extremely fun and we even got a Certificate of Participation at the end!
Everyone was very nice and I think a Prata Workshop would be quite a nice bonding session with your boyfriend or friends during the weekends! If you are keen, can just walk-in for the sessions at Casuarina Curry Restaurant (136 & 138 Casuarina Road), available daily!
Session 1: 10am - 12pm
Session 2: 2pm - 4pm
Session 3: 4pm - 6pm
