Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013

So, the festive season is now temporarily over, until Chinese New Year comes! Can't wait! 2012 vanished in a blink just like that... It was a good year in 2009. But it turned bad in 2010. It got horrible in 2011. Then it became slightly better in 2012. And 2013 will be awesome! :) I have about 10 wishes that I hope will come true for me in 2013... is it very greedy? Haha.

On New Year Eve, bf came over for dinner with my family and we cooked up a feast!

What was on the menu? Orange Juice, Chicken Mushroom Soup, Oven-baked Salt and Pepper Prawns, Oven-baked Sambal Sotong, Oven-baked Chicken Drumsticks with Butter Potatoes. Dessert was cheesecake! Was already very full but we continued with tea and the Fruitcake that bf bought, while watching TV. Had an enjoyable time together!



Then on the next morning, bf bought breakfast for the family! Great start to the New Year!

Wore this simple collared blouse from MissQueenie for gathering at my grandparent's place last week. Paired it with these lovely blue feather earrings but took it out upon reaching because I don't want the kids to yank it off my ear! I hardly have electric-blue tops so it was a rare occasion that I could wear those earrings!

The bag I'm carrying is a Xmas gift from my boss. Nice!

My nails are done by Chloe from Millys, Far East Plaza branch. Call 67376723 for appointment. They currently have a 50% discount promotion for Gelish  - $20 only! Gelish last longer than normal nail polish, and doesn't chip as easily. Also, you don't have to stay in the nail salon for so long after application because Gelish takes only 3 minutes to 'dry' completely, as compared to normal nail polish which takes a lot longer. Such a pity that the color taken by my camera totally does no justice to the real color!

Bought this pair of sandals at Bugis Street for only $2 a pair! It was okay at first but after walking in it for awhile, my feet was extremely painful due to the material of the sandals causing friction :( I don't know if I would wear it again~

I watched the movie Taxi Taxi some days back and loved it! The storyline wasn't much and did not have any climax but the whole movie was very light-hearted and enjoyable! Mark Lee was funny and Gurmit Singh portrayed his character really well. Recommended to watch!

I also watched Chinese Zodiac (CZ12), the Jackie Chan's movie. I think it's very funny and I liked the story. Simple, but interesting enough. There are so many movies I want to watch recently! When there are nice movies to watch, there are too many. Then at times, there are no interesting movies at all ~.~

Many people gave the thumbs up for Life Of Pi but till now I haven't got a chance to watch it yet :(

Went to Ikea two days in a row during the new year holidays. Haha. Got myself a new shelving unit for my closet cos my current "shelvings" stacked using Daiso kitchen racks are hazardously leaning to one side already. Now, I just need to find the time and 'feel' to start reorganizing the closet. The laggy computer has been giving me  less mood to update my blog, so I have been watching dramas with my time.

Ending this short update entry here! As you can see from the way I'm jumping from one topic to another, I'm still in holiday mood zzz.
