Oktoberfest at Azur




Carrie invited me for a Oktoberfest feast at Azur awhile back, together with Fidelis and Leon. It was a nice night of catching up and good food!

I have been to Azur quite a few times already, and this time it was for the Oktoberfest-themed buffet, which will be available from 19th September to 5 October 2014.

The line up of Bavarian dishes we enjoyed include the following:



German Potato Salad with Bacon Bits, Gherkins and Chopped Eggs - This was a nice appetizer which I really enjoyed!


Smoked Black Forest Ham - Specially imported from Germany, with a perfect balance between fat and meat.


Oven Baked Classic Meat Loaf - A German classic. I didn't have this, but I heard from the rest that the meat was juicy and tender. Also, it's wrapped with crispy bacon! It looks really yummy too!


Bavarian Kaese Spaetzle with Emmental Cheese - those who love cheese will like this dish, which is egg noodles topped with parmesan and baked.


Chouroute en Garnie with Mustard and Gravy. Of course, Pork Knuckle is a must-have for Oktoberfest. This platter includes a selection of sausages, bacon slabs, crispy pork knuckles and sauerkraut. This is for the meat lovers!


Haricot Verts and Cauliflower Florets with Fresh Herbs. Veggie is always nice after a lot of meat.


And our dinner ended on a sweet note with our desserts - Linzer Torte and Black Forest Trifle. Was a satisfying meal!
