Five & Dime

Five & Dime has been around for quite some time and I have always wanted to visit but because there are only so few weekends in a year, I never got around to it until now. I personally think that cafes are so inspiring! I really love looking at pretty things and I liked how the booming cafe culture in Singapore these recent years resulted in so many good looking cafes pop up here and there.




I had french toast with bacon, typical hearty brunch food.


Bf had some stewed pork buns with sweet potato fries.


We ended our very filling meal with custard lava cake! Quite an interesting combination of custard and chocolate.


The necklace I got from www.theclosetlover.com is so versatile! So far I have wore it with a white top, a black top, a blue top, and a pink top already!

Met up with my friends afterwards for an awesome KTV session and dinner!

Walked around and around until we decided on french food. The foie gras was such a disappointment. I decided that I prefer the seared version. Better check with the server next time before ordering!




Luckily, my chicken thigh was yummy!


After dinner, Amber left and we wanted to find somewhere to sit and drink.

We ended up drinking by the roadside after going round and round the mall from cafe to cafe, being too picky until we ended up without any at all as it was closing time already. Haha. I think we all learnt a lesson - next time don't be so choosy!  (By the way, Suntec Mall is really difficult to navigate around now! So complicated!)
