We chose to get our macaron favours from Macarons.sg and it was the best decision ever! I generally like macarons but to be honest, not all bakeries are good at it... Some of the ones I have eaten before are too sweet or didn't have the correct texture. But the ones from Macarons.sg were so yummy, I really have to say it's probably the BEST I have ever eaten. Not only I say, I received so many texts from my friends after the wedding about the macarons!! It's like, I didn't even ask them for their opinion, they just messaged me randomly to comment about the macarons!!! That says alot doesn't it?
Actually I first got to know about Macarons.sg mainly because of their pretty macaron towers! They have a range of different sizes are very affordable prices, with the smallest one at below a hundred dollars. Catering to numerous events since 2013, they also have giant macaron cakes on top of regular macaron favours and macaron towers!
Oh ya if you are wondering, Macarons.sg is also halal certified!
Logos can be printed on the macarons~ Alternatively, you can also choose to paste a customized sticker on each box like what I did!
There is a long list of flavours to choose from but my choosing criteria was simple. I shortlisted all the pink ones to fit to my wedding theme and settled on Chinese White Peach and Korean Strawberry mainly because I personally like these two flavours. I also felt that both are classic flavours well-liked by most people.
A pastel peachy pink + a darker pink makes for a pretty combination!
There are a total of 27 different flavours and colours - some regular ones like Red Velvet Cream Cheese, Australian Passion Fruit, French Vanilla, Double Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, etc and special ones like Colorado Rose, Russian Earl Grey, Hojicha Latte, and more! I was so tempted to order one of each of everything for myself!
Another unique flavour is the Mao Shan Wang durian macaron!! I'd love to try it one day!
The macarons are not too sweet and taste refreshing, like the fruit itself. Best thing is the light crust with a slightly chewy texture, just how it should be! I've had so many macarons outside which tasted more like cake/biscuit and too thick/too sweet. This one was perfect!
With reasonable prices and great service (check out the reviews on the FB page!), you won't go wrong ordering from Macarons.sg if you order your wedding favours from them! I highly recommend them!
