Unveiling this year's NDP Funpack!
I really like the design for this year's bag, though at first I wish I got the white one instead, which looks more trendy. Haha. But I've grown to like this red one too. (The two colours are representative of our flag!)
It's the first Funpack that is made of translucent material, which is also in line with the theme this year - "Building Our Singapore of Tomorrow" which aims to encourage Singaporeans to be bold in shaping our future.
Besides it being waterproof and lightweight, it's also very usable! Nobody will instantly think I'm wearing a funpack out. Also, I can choose to wear it either as a sling bag or a haversack. The size is also just nice! Not too big for everyday use, yet still quite roomy inside.
Here's what I have in my funpack!
NEWater, Mineral water, Roasted Peanuts, Hello Panda Biscuit, NDP16 Logo Card, Khong Guan Biscuits, Nin Jiom Herbal Candy, Flip Fan, Singapore Flag, Wet Napkin, Face Tattoo, Singapore Scarf, Litter Bag.
Not in picture: LED Wristband & Souvenir Magazine. Those who get the funpack on NDP itself will have these interactive items which can be used during the show. (Others: Luggage tag hanging on the bag in the first photo, dry tissue, discount booklet)
And good news!!! This year the bags will be placed at the seats instead of at collection points so that it will smoothen the entry for spectators. Really glad that they decide to do this!
Last year we had SG50, which was a huge year-long event. This year, our 51th year, is also significant as the first chapter of the next 50 years of nation-building.
