Boardgames on a lazy afternoon

On a lazy afternoon, we decided to head over to MindCafe at Tampines Safra for lunchie and some boardgames!

(Top from TheFashionStreet)

We purchased the combo, which was $12 per pax for 3 hours of games plus a combo meal consisting of soup/salad, drink and main course.

Unlike the other noisy branches which I've been to before, this branch was quite empty and quiet. Great way to spend the afternoon!

Curry in breadbowl.

Roasted chicken with rice.

Food was okay-okay, but I think it's still cheap, considering that the cafe provides boardgames to play plus we could sit there for 3 hours!

We spent half our time there eating and chatting, we were left with very little time to play!

I wanted to play this but the blocks had disgusting gooey stuffs on them. Must be some prank by the previous player, or they spilled food on it and didn't bother to clean up.

Played this monkey game instead! Played this with Isaac the first time I visited MindCafe and up till this day I still remember how much fun this game was! I have better skills/tricks now. I won this game by the way :p

Then we played this game. It's fun!!! Laughed so much at this game. We had to clear out our deck of cards as fast as possible and the player who uses up all cards first wins. At first it looked like I was going to lose and my friend offered to exchange decks so that I'd have lesser cards.... BUT I REFUSE!! End up, usually my own merit, I WON!!!! Hehe. I didn't play cheat and took the lesser deck, I caught up and won using my own deck of cards!!

This one below was fun too.. It's like a game of bluff. So anyway, the trick to this game is to not cheat and not call out the opponent as a bluff. I won because my opponent kept calling me bluff when I didn't. Haha.

Played this game below briefly but we terminated it halfway.

Our last game that day was The Game of Life. I remember when I was younger, I used to go to my grandpa house and we would play this with my uncle, except that it was videogame instead of boardgame. Very fun!!

Check out the career card which I got from the deck - "Artist"! If only! If only I can stay at home and just paint and paint whole day~~

Had a fun afternoon!

Last week, I had dinner with a few other bloggers. Cabbed down to Changi Village Hotel with Randy and met the rest at The Wine Company. It's a pretty place with a nice ambiance!

The food is good. The prawn was yummy!

Photos with Nuffies and other bloggers.

It was interesting and fun chatting over dinner!

Randy's smoked salmon pasta. I love smoked salmon!

I had the All-day-breakfast, though it was already supper-time. haha. My dish was the last to arrive, but nevermind I like the food! I like the runny egg I like the bacon I like the mushroom I like the sausage I like the hashbrown! Usually breakfast platters they only give you 3 of the above lor!

Qiuqiu had this lava cake earlier, which was lighted on fire with alcohol. Quite interesting, though she said that it would taste better without the alcohol. Everyone else who ordered the lava cake later on took her advice. Haha.

Randy's ice-cream! So anyway, their ice-cream all melted before mine came (last again! plus my last is quite a time away from the 2nd last!). I guess a scoop of plain chocolate ice cream is quite hard to scoop... Haha. Or, the chef hates me.

Photo with Randy~~

My dress is from MissQueenie! If you noticed, it is the same dress two entries down, just in different color! Each had their own 'feel' I think! Bag is also from MissQueenie. Love it so much that I'm carrying it almost everyday now!

Peggy was also at the dinner but she was at the opposite end of the table so we didn't get to speak much! Catch up next time girl! :)

That day I walked past Aries at White Sands and saw a standee outside announcing their One-day-only promotion: Buy $15 worth of items and get $15 worth free!!!

Of course I had to go in! In the end I spent $18 and got $18 worth of items free. Took a basket and filled it with $36 worth of items, not feeling heartpain at all because I'd only be paying $18! Haha. If the price states $1.90, means it's only around 95 cents!

Bought headbands in various colors to match more clothing. Haha.

Also bought these floral clips... Love the soft dreamy and pastel look!

Then I had some budget left over so I got those clip-on ribbons and hairtie.

When I shopped it felt like a lot but seeing it in photos it looks like actually just a very small buy. But still, I'm glad I caught the deal because it's only a One-Day promotion!

I went home and received 4 boxes of eyelashes from my lash sponsor http://blink.sg Really love their lashes! Cheap + comfortable and comes in a variant of designs. I took my favorite 826 (First from left) and also 3 other designs to try out. The other two at the right look kua-zhang but I shall try it one day and let you all see how it looks on the eye! I think it'd be good for party nights or droopy eyes.

I also got a pink eyelash holder from them! Love!

With a mirror too! I love how there are two sections because sometimes I bring out two pairs of eyelashes just in case, and I just store each pair at each section. This way, I won't mix up the two pairs!

Check out http://blink.sg now! Besides eyelashes and case, they are also selling eyelash glue. Make your eyes pretty with lashes!!

Finally met up with Belinda again after so long! The last time we managed to 'meet' was at my birthday party, which is about half a year ago. Tsk!

We met Fidelis and Jacelyn too! Nadia was supposed to come along too but she had something on last minute :(

We decided on Fatfish Steamboat at Ehub. Awesome, because we all live in the east side. Especially me, I could walk to Ehub if I wanted to!

This was my second time at Fatfish. The food is okay okay only lah, but quite a good quiet place to have a relaxing dinner with friends.

Saw Milly having dinner there with her friends, my Coccomomo sponsors!

Our table was very balanced. Me and Fidelis focused on the meat. Jacelyn and Belinda ate plenty of veggies. Haha. Before I arrived, they ordered so many veggies I was horrified. Luckily after that I ordered everything meat meat meat and meat.

Took my camera out to do a "pretend to take food from the steamboat" photo, so I anyhow grabbed a veggie. They all called me a bluff because I don't eat veggies in steamboat. Lol! Then they joined in the fun. Me and Fidelis held veggies for a change while Jacelyn and Belinda took seafood. Haha.

Was so much fun catching up, talking about boys and sharing the woes of growing old! Haha. Oh ya, main topic of the night was Ghost. Especially the story of the KTV ghost, which gave us goosebumps. Thanks ah, Fidelis. Haha.

We should totally meet up more often. We all stay very near each other hello?!

Love the dress I wore that day! It's from http://missqueenie.com if you are interested. Comes in another color too.

Chapel Street

Advertorial

Chapel Street
http://chapel-street.livejournal.com

Don't you love the pastel ensemble above?

The idea of creating Chapel Street was inspired by a favorite shopping haunt of the owners in Melbourne when they were there. It housed everything from high fashion cult brands to mass brands, discount stalls and thrift shops, there is definitely something for everyone there so no one ever leaves empty-handed.

Like the Chapel Street they love, the owners strive to create their webstore - Chapel Street to be a melting pot of styles to cater to every girl out there. All sorts of apparels ranging from work, to edgy and casual wear can be found at our site.

Shoppers would surely have an fulfilling shopping experience with Chapel Street, and the owners hope that you love the items that they have carefully selected for the collections as much as they do! I totally love the mint green top on the right! It seems to be able to lift up the mood of anyone wearing it!

I love the range of designs offered at Chapel Street. For a girl like me who love trying on different looks, it's basically heaven! For the rest of you, I'm sure you'd find something you like in there, no matter what your style is. The dresses below is unique and refreshing!

Do hop over to the webstore (http://chapel-street.livejournal.com) and join the mailing list found there or like them on Facebook ( http://www.facebook.com/chapelstreetwebstore) to be kept updated on collection launches and promotions :)

Last day on Cruise

Finally I'm on my last entry for the Superstar Virgo Cruise. It has been dragging for far too long isn't it? The cruise holiday was in early February and now is already nearing the end of April! Didn't have time to really sit down, sort out the photos and blog properly for so long.

And so, it was the final day of the cruise. Feeling kinda sad that morning, because we were on the way back to Singapore already :-(

Had breakfast at Pavillion again. Congee and dimsum.
