Movies I watched recently:

CARS2
Got tickets via Nuffnang and I brought my parents along. It is better than I thought and it's super funny!! I liked how the surroundings are just like the human world, just that cars are the "humans". It really showed the different countries well. Although it's cartoon, but I think children wouldn't understand the story... They'll love the graphics though.

BRIDESMAIDS
I had been wanting to watch this movie after many raving reviews on other blogs but most of my friends have already watched it! Brought my parents along to watch this with me :p I was very afraid that I would be disappointed, because that's usually what happens when you have high expectations. But I wasn't! It was a great movie and I laughed alot. I loved how the movie was realistic and sometimes it's good to watch someone who is equally weak as the rest of us and not like the usual strong female characters.

One of the quotes mentioned in the movie:
"Why can't you be happy for me and then go home and talk about me behind my back like a normal person?"

竊聽風雲2

I didn't watch the first one and didn't understand the trailer/description when this movie came out. I didn't intend to watch it but BF had a sudden off day and we didn't have any thing to watch so we booked this show.

Turns out that I love the movie! Hong Kong movies can just never go wrong ^^ The movie was fast-paced and very interesting, because you can't predict the story plot. I think it's quite a unique movie with a different theme from the usual.

Go watch! But it's quite complicated though. BF didn't seem to understand what was going on throughout the movie haha.

FINAL DESTINATION
Watched it yesterday! And halfway through the movie I totally regret watching it. I wish they stop producing Final Destination movies. I've watched every single Final Destination movie so how could I skip this one right? But when I watch I get super paranoid and scared -_- This is torturing~

I find myself covering my eyes at every gross about-to-get-killed part. Haha. But overall the movie is good lah. And the previous one was more gross than this one. The story had some twist for this one though, so it's not as predictable as the previous ones, although still predictable to some extent. This movie also showed me that any thing could go wrong at a normal situation. So, we all must be more paranoid and careful if not we might harm other people.

Recently just found out that I can view the interactions history between myself and friends on facebook. Was curious, so I went to see what were the interactions between me and bf.

Our relationship wasn't a smooth sailing one. If there is one word to describe it, I'd call it dramatic. Seriously, ALOT of things happened that I've not blogged about and I don't intend to.

So anyway, the recent months are much more difficult than any of what we went through before. But, I see myself changing to a better person. I see myself looking at my flaws and realising what kind of person I was. I always thought it was my right to behave this way, and if a man loves me he ought to love me this way. But suddenly I felt myself in my ex's shoes. I was going through the same thing that I made him went through. I was treated the same way I treated other people. I always thought my bf was taking for granted of me at times, but I realised that I was taking him for granted too (I felt so guilty that on his birthday this year, it was his friends who waited for 12AM sharp to wish him happy bday, not me. I didn't even leave any happy bday msg on his fb wall when his friends were flooding him...). I started realising that sometimes it's not about who is right and who is wrong. Sometimes situations and circumstances makes people think rashly and make bad decisions.

I would not change my character and principals for anyone. I would still be the same girl no matter what. But I can change my temper, I can spare some thought for other people, I can change some little things to be a better person and yet not lose my true self. I still believe in showing my anger when I'm upset, but instead of yelling, I could give myself time to calm down and think about my anger and the situation before confronting the person. And when I put myself in someone else's shoe, I am able to understand better.

I saw the messages that he left on my facebook wall, and the ones I left on his wall. It wasn't alot, because he is seldom on FB. He started being more active recently though, after changing to a smartphone. It also made our conversations more fun cos we can send each other pictures/videos/voice messages/emoticons on whatsapp.

So anyway, back to facebook. I realised that he used to leave a "love u♥♥" note at least once every month, until this year May (that's when we started going downhill). Then it stopped coming. Sigh, as the saying goes, you never know what you had until it is gone right?

I scrolled down and saw the super sweet messages he left in the past. For example,
"are u willing to be my tower???? so tat i can stand there and look at u forever ♥"
That was last year, in December.

"mis su mis su xiao xiong mis su"
That was when he watching the "Autumn Concerto" show and imitating the small boy -.-

When I went to Genting, he left this msg:
"faster come back i miss u ♥"

On his wall....
Me: Although sometimes I feel that I really really hate you for being so stupid/nasty, but I still want to say I ♥ you.
Him: tis is the reason i love u too ♥ and pls i am nt stupid and nasty...
Me: U are!

Lol. This is what happens when you speak in a mixture of English and Chinese.

Bf: 你有没有good的girl介绍给我?
Me: 我lor.

So, it was Mum's birthday earlier this month.

She wanted to try the new steamboat place at Downtown East called Fat Fish. It is located beside Seoul Garden! Blatantly snatching customers!! Haha.

Anyway, we had herbal and chicken based soup. I recommend not to take the herbal soup if you are going there. Doesn't go too well with the food in my opinion. There's a choice of Tom Yam soup, so I think that will be better.

It is an eat-all-you-can ala-carte buffet style. Means you order your items on a paper and they will bring the dish to you. Each portion is quite small.

The food was so-so.
But the prawns was large and fresh. The fish was not the cheapo type served elsewhere. It's fresh garoupa fish and yummy to eat. They also have sliced pork belly and collarbone. The fish ball is bouncy, me like!

For the first round, the service staff offered to recommend instead of us ordering, so they brought quite a wide variety of food to our table. On our 2nd round though, while we were writing down the numbers on the sheet of order form, we decided to write "4" on some items such as meat, prawns, etc since the portion per plate was very small and we could eat alot. When the staff looked at our form, she kept saying things like "4 is 4 plate leh, not 4 pieces leh". So my mum said "ya we want 4 plates". The staff gave a bemused expression and my mum asked "each plate got 3 prawns right?" The staff said ya. My mum replied "3 x 4 is 12. I can even finish it alone."

Seriously..... 12 prawns is alot meh? I can finish 24 prawns alone! Don't know why the staff say until like 12 prawns for FOUR person is alot -.-

Had desserts elsewhere after that! Wanted to have Mango Snow Ice but couldn't find it anywhere so we had these at the food court.

How come the grass jelly so chui one? The grass jelly is usually large cubes outside. Haha.

Love this dress! It is from ClubCouture.

I just went to do treatment at Bugis Essensuals afew days ago, and this few days combing my hair has been so smooth! I always had tangled hair due to it being long and dry, so I always just agaragar comb the outer layer, or pull it really hard. But this few days was a surprise because it was so easy! I didn't even use conditioner!

Before Ladygaga's showcase, I met with my sis at Bugis for Itacho sushi.

She is happy cos she gets free food whenever she is out with me. Haha.

After the showcase, I was so thirsty, so we went to HK cafe!

When I'm thirsty I super crave their ice cold HK milk tea!

Prawn paste chicken. Abit too oily & fat though. The one at the coffeeshop near my house super nice! Crispy and fragrant.

Finally had time to blog about the Korean Music Wave concert! I managed to get tickets to watch the show ^^

I took videos of every single group that performed, but I'll post up the video another day. Havent got time to edit them.

Here are some pictures I took though :) I didn't get zoom lens for my camera, so most of the pictures aren't clear enough... But I enjoyed the concert alot! Especially towards the end!

Erm, I don't recognise who is who. Haha.

Previously I only listened to Miss A's Good Girl Bad Girl before. But after the concert, I had more interest in them and went to listen to all their songs on A Class, and also watch other videos regarding them. I like them now! I like all the members cos I think each of them have their likeable factor in their own way. I also love their dances. And I also love their songs, like Goodbye Baby, Love Alone, Breathe, etc!

I also like 2NE1! Not a fan of their song genre, but I like some of their songs such as Go away, I don't care, and Lonely. Most of all, I like their on-stage charisma and confidence. They got the "sei".

Big Bang! My favourite two members is Top and Gdragon.
